How to Book?

I open my books once every 3 months; this is when I will take appointments for the following 3 months. When it gets closer to the time I will post the date above and on my instagram page. On the day my books open I will post a link to a submission form on my Instagram, and those on my mailing list will have been emailed the same submission form days prior. *Sign up for my newsletter (on the “contact” page) to get the submission form emailed directly to you*. Please do not email me! I only take bookings through this submission form process.

Rates and Payment?

I have reworked my pay-scale and will now charge per-piece for most pieces that take less than 3 hours (the majority of my portfolio). Below is an approximate guide:

-roughly 4 x 4 or “palm size”: $250-350
-roughly 7 x 4 or “hand size”:$400-550
-roughly 7 x 7: $600-800
-roughly 8.5 x 11: $850-1100

For larger projects (over 4 hours) or complicated placements that make giving quotes difficult, I will likely charge a day-rate (or multiple day rates until we finish the project) of $1200/day.

Anyone I take on as a client may ask for a quote before finalizing a booking. The quote isn’t solely based on size but also placement and detail. The quote may change slightly if on the day of the appointment the size and/or placement are slightly different than what I was quoting for. I am always comfortable having open and honest conversations about budgets and costs, so please don't hesitate to ask.

I accept cash and e-transfer.

Do you do Flash or Custom?

I do both! Usually in a booking period I book 40/60 flash and custom. I book both at the same time through the same submission form. Regardless, I will only ever tattoo in my style; linework, black and grey shading only. 

What is Flash and how does it work?

Flash refers to designs I have pre-drawn that are available to be tattooed. Please see the “flash” section of my website for available designs and more info.
All of my flash is repeatable: this means it can be tattooed more than once.

Where do you work?

I work in Hamilton, ON at Sleepy Bones Tattoo (477 King St. E). We are a private, appointment-only studio.

Accessibility at the shop?

There is one step outside the door and one step inside to get to the main space. Bathroom is on the main floor (aka no extra stairs to get to it). I only speak English. It is a small, relatively quiet shop. While I don’t know the exact weight limit of my tattoo bed, it has never been an issue for fat folk. If you have any audio or visual needs, or any other needs/concerns please let me know and I will do my best to accommodate!

Deposit Policy:

I will require a $100 deposit once the appointment is set up. This will go toward the final cost of your tattoo.

You will forfeit your deposit if:

-You decide not to keep the appointment.

-You dramatically change the design/subject matter.

-If you don't call, don't show, or you cancel without 48 hours notice, you will be required to put down another deposit to reschedule. If you cancel with no intention to reschedule, you will lose your deposit.

-If you show up more than 20 minutes late without letting me know you're running late.

-If you need to reschedule your appointment, your deposit will continue to be applied to your final tattoo session, provided you give 48 hours advance notice.

-You reschedule your appointment more than once

-I typically send over a sketch days ahead of the appointment. I am able to make changes to the design, but any major changes may require a new appointment date and forfeiting the deposit. I will keep clear and open communication about this process.
